Sid has 15+ years of experience in protein drug discovery, design, and engineering for biotherapeutic and gene therapy applications, having worked in top companies like AstraZeneca MedImmune, Lonza Biologics, and Freeline Therapeutics in this capacity. Sid completed his Ph.D. in Medical Biophysics from Texas A&M University Health Science Center, USA and postdoctoral work at the University of Cambridge, UK. He brings his insights and immense experience to foster exciting developments in drug discovery and design, which he believes requires a level of computational scale and sophistication that is impossible without the aid of quantum technologies. He is particularly passionate about bringing medicines faster to impact the lives of patients. Outside of work, Sid enjoys working as an unpaid chauffeur for his daughter, doing unsuccessful gardening, and watching sci-fi movies.
