We won phase 1 of the competition with our innovative approach to tackling protein drug design using quantum computing technologies. The £15 million competition was set up by the UK government to explore the benefits of using quantum technologies in areas like health, transport, and net zero. The UK government has been an astute supporter of innovations in quantum and recognizes the many beneficial ways it can impact society. We are thrilled to lead the charge in devising novel ways to tackle the impending need for faster, economical, and more sustainable routes to drug development. We believe our game-changing approach to bridge the gap between today’s quantum hardware and those of the future is imminently viable and we can scaffold our way systematically towards a (hopefully not-so-distant) future of quantum powered therapeutics!
